Why hello there! I'm Kayla. I'm a twenty-something from Michigan. I love love love being crafty. I'll make anything from a Christmas card to a birthday cake to furniture for the house. I've spent my life traveling the world, and I love incorporating styles and traditions from around the globe into my projects and my life.
I have a wonderful man-friend named Matt. He's pretty much the funniest, sweetest, most supportive guy in the world. I'm very lucky to have found him. He might not know it yet, but he's going to help me with the many projects I plan on blogging about! We have just began dating in summer 2011, but it's been special right from the start. We just moved into a new home together, which I plan on using my DIY skills to make into a wonderful place that is completely us.
One of my other loves is writing, so a blog is the perfect place for me to combine all of these things together! I have been reading craft and cooking blogs for years, so I'm excited to show the blogging world what I can do, and to make new blogging friends while I'm at it!
